Here she is Natalie Gauci, the winner of Idol 2007. I don't know whether this happens in Idol everywhere else but in Australia instead of releasing an album of original tracks straightaway, the artist is given time to work and produce a decent debut and so instead a Winner's Journey album is released. The album features most of the songs or the best ones that the Winner in this case Natalie sung during her time on the show. Natalie this year had the opportunity to re-record those song in the studio unlike previous winner Damien Leith, who's Winner's Journey album was just filled with the actual Live songs he sung (So you would here clapping and screaming and the songs were shorten). Although I don't like Natalie as much as I like Matt, but this album is pretty good. Her rendition of Rihanna's Umbrella, her version of Gnarls Barkley's Crazy and her take on OneRepublic's huge hit Apologize (Which ironically according to some say, that her performance of their song increased their sales and eventually prevented her Winner's Single to get the number 1 spot). Although I hate to admit it, this album is a definite listen to and worth the money. Other songs include Michael Jackson's Man In The Mirror, Ella Fitzgerald How High The Moon, Pink's Nobody Knows and of course the winner's single Here I Am.
